We are delighted to announce that fan favourite #33 M J Clancy has re-signed with the club through to the 2027/28 season.

MJ has become an integral part of the team both on and off the ice. While much of his work often goes under the radar, his teammates, coaches, and supporters all know the value he brings every single game.

The life and soul of the dressing room, MJ’s leadership, professionalism, and character make him one of the most respected figures within the squad.

His importance to the team is reflected by his continued place in the club’s leadership group, and we’re pleased to confirm that he will once again wear the ‘A’ as an alternate captain for the upcoming season.

Last season, MJ showcased his versatility by stepping up wherever the team needed him. Whether playing at centre or dropping back into defence, he delivered consistently and selflessly, always putting the team first.

Across 33 league appearances, he recorded 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points, but his impact stretched far beyond the scoresheet.

We’re thrilled to have MJ back in the blue and look forward to seeing him continue to lead by example as we build towards another exciting season.
