Your Steel 4 Structures Deeside Dragons would like to welcome former Deeside Dragons legend Alan Steele as Equipment Manager for the upcoming season. Al will be supported by the return of fans favourite Rhys Stout!
Alan commented:- I’m pleased to join the dragons as the new equipment manager, I’m looking fwd to working alongside the current coaching staff, and to learn from them what the team requires. I’ve played senior hockey at Deeside for over 20 years, I’ve also coached at junior levels. So I’m hoping to bring my many years of experience of being around the changing room to the current squad of players. Id like the players to turn up on game days not worrying about if their equipment is ready to go, and just concentrate on giving it their all on the ice.
Rhys commented:- Itβs a lot pleasure to have the opportunity to work with the dragons again this year, the club is going stength to strength, and I canβt wait to build from last year and be part of a successful club, canβt wait to be back in the packed out den and take my shirt off again.
The equipment manager role is one of the most important, 1st to arrive and last to leave, the heartbeat of the club.
