SIGNED: 39 Matt Barlow Commits for 2026/27 season

The goals, the skill, the energy… we’re delighted to announce that Matthew Barlow is returning to the for the 2026/27 season!

Coming off the best season of his career, Matt lit up the league with 55 points in 30 league games, scoring 18 goals and adding 33 assists.

Who could forget that moment? 💥 Matt etched his name into Dragons history by scoring the overtime winner against the Blackburn Hawks, sending the Dragons through to the NIHL Cup Final and sparking unforgettable celebrations.

A constant threat every time he hits the ice, Matt combines speed, skill and a nose for goal, making him one of the league’s most exciting forwards. Just as importantly, he’s a hugely popular character in the dressing room and a massive favourite with the Dragons family.

With confidence high, we’re excited to see what Matt has in store this season as he looks to reach even greater heights.

With Matt’s return, our 2026/27 roster is now complete. The countdown is over, the squad is set, and we’re ready to go. We can’t wait to see you all back at Deeside as we chase another unforgettable season together.
